"It's More Than A Brand" Camp

Walters Livestock hosted the "It's More Than A Brand" Camp July 7-8, 2012. It was a great weekend with over 45 juniors and their parents and siblings. They learned about teamwork, ethics and a little of everything from A to Z about their livestock projects!

2013 "It's More Than A Brand" Camp tentatively scheduled for July 2013.

Loads of fun was had by all. Contests for best wash rack etiquette, cleanest poop scooped, most improved with blow dryer, and best stall. Amazing time, great food, great RAIN! Life is Good!

Texas Junior Brahman Show, Kerville, Texas

Winston-Grand Champion Showman Overall!!!!!
Mary Kate exhibited the Grand Champion Grey Brahman Female, Miss BNA 596/1, aka Snapper. Overall we showed 6 head and won 3 Class Championships, 3 Reserve Class Champions, 3 Division Championships and the Grand title! It was a great day!!!!

 

Okie Extravaganza, McAlester, Oklahoma

Walters Livestock and Winston exhibited the Reserve Grand Champion Grey Brahman Heifer in Oklahoma. Winston was also named Intermediate Showman Champion.

 

2012 Houston Junior Show

WOW!!!!!!! Winston won Grand Champion Brahman Female with LMC Polled Spice 47/1. She then went on to be named Supreme Reserve Grand American Heifer!
Mary Kate won Reserve Grand Champion Simbrah Female with Little Goose and she was named the Showmanship Champion for Simbrah.

Our Winning Week at 2012 San Antonio

LMC Polled Spice 47/1
Our January 2011 heifer, who was a class winner in both the open and junior shows in San Antonio. She was selected as the Grand Champion Grey Brahman Female in the open show from the calf division. She was also again Calf Champion and ultimately Reserve Grand Champion Brahman Female in the San Antonio Junior Show.


Smith Priceless Passion aka Baby Goose
She was the Junior Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Female in the San Antonio Open show. She was the Reserve Junior Champion Female at the Ft. Worth Junior Show, Superbowl, and San Antonio Junior Show. She is the most consistantly winning female on the Simbrah show circut today, always getting a piece of a division at almost every show.

2012 San Antonio Reserve Grand Simmental Female, a daughter of Steel Force.

 

 This our straight Hudgins bred daughter that was a class winner and the Junior Champion Division Female in the San Antonio Open Show and was the class winner of one of the toughest classes in the San Antonio Junior Show.

Our June 2011 daughter of JDH Mr Tula Manso ,who was the class winner of a 27 headed baby doll class and the Reserve Calf Champion in the San Antonio Junior Show. She was also a class winner in a very large baby class in the open show.

RFI Ritzy, our Hide N Seek daughter, was Grand Champion Simbrah Female in the State Fair of Texas Junior Show.Smith Priceless Passion, our RFI Infinity x Priceless daughter, was Grand Champion Simbrah Female at both the Washington County Fair and the Heart of Texas Fair in Waco, and was the Reserve Grand Champion Simbrah Female at the State Fair of Texas Junior Show. Also she won the TJSSA Futurity, AJSR Roundup and Belt Buckle.

LMC Polled Spice 47/1, our Ambassador daughter, was Calf Champion Grey Female at the East Texas State Fair Open Show in Tyler, the Reserve Champion Grey Brahman Female in the Junior shows at the Washington County Fair, the Heart of Texas Fair, and the State Fair of Texas.
WHF/PRS Heart Throb, Known as Madison

WHF/PRS Heart Throb is our purebred red Simmental donor female by Steel Force. Massive does not even begin to describe this female. It takes a full eight to get her all on the trailer! The best compliment we have had on this cow is that she will be a breed changer whether she is used to produce purebred Simmentals, percentage Simbrahs or even crossbred club calves.
